Mark your planners for July 24th, friends! I am thrilled to host Rochester, NY’s first Planner Workshop!
If you’re new to planning, come learn how planning can bring you peace, and if you’re already a planner, come and connect with the planning community and get your creativity flowing!
You might know by now (you can watch my interviews with the ladies of Good Day Rochester to learn about that here and here) that my paper planner is an essential piece of keeping my life productive and organized. From writing down appointments, keeping track of my family’s busy schedules and special moments, to having one place where all my notes and ideas have a home, my planner brings me the peace of knowing everything is in one place.
Please join me for an afternoon of fun with guest speakers, swag bags, demos, desserts, and an afternoon of planning! Please bring your planner and any supplies you like to plan with, and if you’re new to planning, just pick up a planner and join us to learn the many ways to plan.
I can’t wait to plan with you!
Check out this clip from my most recent Good Day Rochester interview about how planning can bring you peace.

Rachel is an Outlander Fanatic who loves to drink a cup of tea and plan her little heart out…while drooling over Jamie Fraser. Her proudest title is momma, while also juggling wife, daughter, sister, aunt, teacher, loyal friend and lover of all things kind. She often fantasizes about living on a Frontier in Alaska, hunting deer, and growing her own food when watching Alaska the Last Frontier; but then her Scottish husband rudely reminds her that she is always cold and wouldn’t survive a week. Joanna Gaines is her spirit animal. She loves to create and inspire others. Rachel has always been a planner girl and even more so now as a Mom. Being able to go back through her planner at the end of the year and reminisce about life is her favorite part of having a planner. She loves to plan with stickers and washi! You can follow her on her planner journey on Instagram: Rachel_plannergirl.
Claudia is a Kate-Spade-drinking-prosecco-in-a-dive-bar kind of chick. Happy wife, daughter & sister, loyal friend, lover of animals, good books, bad TV, and sparkly things. Fierce advocate & keeper of secrets. Claudia has always been a planner, but with the emergence of iPhones and online calendaring, she got away from a paper planner and had to rely on memory, emails, and post it notes. Her brain over-flooded with worry over forgotten tasks and wondering if she sent that thank you note, not to mention the occasional freak out if her computer went down. She knows you won’t find her weekly layouts on Pinterest, and she’s ok with that. She’ll drool over yours and repin it for future inspiration. Find her on Pinterest: Claudia Burcke
Katie is a wanna-be crafter by night and an insanely busy music teacher by day. A self-proclaimed tech nerd, she’s used everything from an online planbook, to Google calendar to keep her life together. Something was missing though – and that missing piece was found in her first Erin Condren Life Planner. Soon she found the world of stickers and realized quite quickly that she was going to go broke on Etsy with her teacher’s salary. In July, she bought a Silhouette and the rest is history! Her Etsy shop, RocCityCreations, opened last summer. Originally specializing in Erin Condren Teacher Planner stickers, Katie has expanded to Life Planner stickers and has Happy Planner stickers on the way. Katie now plans in an EC Vertical, EC Teacher Planner, and an Inkwell Press Classic. She lives with her fiancé Josh and their fur baby, Loki (who hates the sound of the Silhouette). Nicole Christian – Calligraphy artist
Nicole loves Jesus, excellent works of fiction, flavors, art history, healthy living, dance, and friendship. You can find her at a coffee shop with a cappuccino in hand and books, paint, and journals spread all over the table. She is a musician, music teacher, self-taught calligrapher, and an overall arts and creativity junkie. Her favorite thing to do is encourage people and her spirit animals are the peacock and the elephant. You can find Nicole on Instagram here and on Etsy at Lemon Fresh Lettering.
