My friend Stacy, from Stacy K Floral, is my Favorite Find on Willowcrest Lane today, and to celebrate her beautiful floral boutique, we partnered up to do a Mother’s Day Giveaway to honor all of the hardworking mamas out there!

That’s right – This one is for you, mamas!

One lucky winner will receive a magnificent floral arrangement set in a handmade Willowcrest Lane rustic wood centerpiece!

So get ready to pretty up your mom’s table, or feel free to keep it yourself as a token of appreciation for all that you do as a mom yourself.

You are noticed. You are loved. You are appreciated, mamas.

To say that I’m excited to work with Stacy K again is an understatement. You see, Stacy was my sounding board, my shoulder on which to weep dramatically, my calm literally at the altar. In other words, she was my wedding florist.

You know how it is, friends. We can sometimes get a little, ahem, “emotional” about weddings, and Stacy was my go-to girl for some perspective. I called her up and spewed every idea I had swirling in my head from The Knot (remember that website, way before Pinterest?). She took my visions and helped me articulate the feel of what Tom and I wanted to do for the biggest celebration of our life.

Here are some pictures of the magic that Stacy created for our wedding arrangements. All photos are from Matt Chichelli Photography.

Stacy opened her studio in Rochester, NY in 2010. She’s been busy building a successful floral and décor studio filled with gifts, home furnishings, and of course, florals like a fierce boss lady since. So, give Stacy a shout for any floral or décor needs you have, and please let her know that you won’t (maybe?) be as needy as I was. Ha!

When I was younger I worked as a server so Mother’s day was always a mandatory working day. I could never do the brunch or spend time with my mother on this day. As I got older and changed my job, i had mother’s day off. Now a mother myself I couldn’t imagine working on this day. Mother’s day means that we get a day dedicated to the hardest working person, a mom. We dont get enough recognition for the hard work and day to day stuff. On mother’s day I get pampered and just feel appreciated. Plus I get to spend it with the people I love!

My bouquet looked a lot like yours — so pretty!
Mother’s Day means saying thank you, recognizing the dedication of a mother, and coming together in solidarity with the other moms in my life (whether family, friends, or even co-workers on the Mother’s Days that I’ve worked). We rock!

Mother’s Day is a time to reflect on the gift of motherhood – all of its trials and celebrations. I think to my own mother, who set the bar high as remarkably kind, gentle, and loving. Whenever I stroke the hair of my sweet girls, I remember resting my head in mama’s lap as she stroked the strands and tucked them behind my ears.

What Mother’s Day means to me has changed a little every year. Most of all, it’s a time of year when I think more about all of the women in my life who have shaped the mother I am. These women continue to support our family through all of our ups and downs. They welcome my little boys into the folds of their arms, as if they belonged there forever. I know that life is precious and a moment can change everything; but at least I know that my kids will forever be loved and nurtured by the people who care about me. That is a security that I know is rare in this world.

Mother’s Day is a day to spend time with loved ones… and let’s be honest, the one day a year that I can sit- all day- and be appreciated and pampered by my children 😉
